A café, patisserie, restaurant and bar on Bezalel Street, open from early morning until late at night, with no bookings.

Beit HaAm, the People's House, is on Bezalel Street by Gerard Behar Square, and its site says it is a café, a patisserie, a restaurant and a place for a drink all at once, open from early morning until night. There are no reservations: seats go to whoever arrives. In the morning it is casual and self-service, with a daily changing choice of sandwiches, salads, pastries and cakes from its own patisserie; at 17:00 it switches to an evening menu with full service, from bruschettas and pizzettas to fish and pasta, with cocktails, beer and Israeli wines. Alcohol is 30 percent off until 19:00. It is kosher under the Jerusalem Rabbinate, and the Menora car park is in the same compound.
