An Italian-style gelato shop on Jaffa Street, by Mahane Yehuda market, that makes its gelato by hand every morning.

Gelateria Crema stands at 113 Jaffa Street in central Jerusalem. Its site says the shop keeps an old Italian tradition: every batch is made by hand each morning from ingredients chosen with care, from Sicilian pistachios to Madagascar vanilla, with the aim of a velvety gelato. Among the classics it names are a pure Sicilian pistachio, a dark chocolate made with 70% Valrhona that is entirely vegan, a Piedmont hazelnut and a sorbet of fresh strawberries, four of more than 30 flavours. The menu is sorted into classic gelato, the house specials, fruit and sorbet, toppings, and drinks and coffee, and gelato is also packed in half-kilo and one-kilo boxes to take home. The shop is open Sunday to Wednesday from 10:00 to 22:00, on Thursday until midnight and on Friday until 16:00, and reopens about half an hour after Shabbat ends.
