A kosher grill restaurant on Agripas Street, open since 1970, where its site says the Jerusalem mixed grill was first made.

Hatzot is a kosher meat restaurant at 121 Agripas Street, run today by the second generation of the Agami family. Its site tells that the Jerusalem mixed grill was born here in 1970, when the founder, Avraham Agami, ran short of charcoal and cooked the meat on an iron griddle heated over gas, and that the name, Midnight in Hebrew, comes from the idea of going out from midnight into the small hours. The menu runs to grilled meats, home-style stews and the mixed grill with the house spice mix, and the salads follow what Mahane Yehuda market has in season. It takes table bookings, takeaway and delivery orders.
