Han Aviran is a guest compound in Moshav Paran with two kinds of stay, by its pages on the Central Arava council's tourism site. Three guest rooms take couples and families of up to four, each with air conditioning, a television, made-up beds and a way out to sitting corners in the yard. Five huts, sheltered from wind and rain, heated in winter and cooled in summer, sleep groups on mattresses with a clean sheet and pillow; guests bring a sleeping bag and a towel. The yard has a place for a campfire, poyke pots, saj griddles for baking pitas, hammocks, a large spa whirlpool and a table-tennis table. Breakfasts and dinners are served in the dining room in the yard to couples, families and groups who order ahead, and the place hosts conferences by arrangement. The pages say pets are welcome.
