Six guest units in a green garden at the Idan family's home in Moshav Paran, taking couples, families and groups of up to 33.
Idan Acher is the Idan family's guest compound in Moshav Paran, which its English pages call Idan Lodge. Five family units have two bedrooms and take up to six guests each, and a smaller unit with a private patio takes up to three; all have a king-size bed, air conditioning, satellite television, a small fridge and a coffee corner. Guests share two equipped kitchens, an air-conditioned dining room, barbecue corners and a garden with a wide lawn, a waterfall and parrots, and from June to September they have free entry to the moshav's swimming pool, five minutes' walk away. The family, which by its own account has grown peppers for 40 years, shows guests its pepper fields and its packing house in season, and a hall on the grounds seats up to 50 for meetings. A night for a couple costs 550 shekels midweek, 650 at the weekend and 750 on holidays, and breakfast can be ordered ahead.
