Kelem Cabins

הבקתות של קלם

Guest house · No kosher certificate

66 Vardit Street, Paran

Four wooden cabins with whirlpool baths in the yard of a pepper farm in Moshav Paran, whose hosts take guests on a tour of their fields and packing house.

Kelem Cabins stand in the farmyard of Anat and Yuval Kelem, who by their own account left Tel Aviv for Moshav Paran in 2004 and later built the cabins to host visitors to the Arava. Each of the four wooden cabins has a double bed, a whirlpool bath, a sitting room with satellite television, a kitchenette for light meals and a gallery above the bedroom with mattresses for children, and opens onto its own covered wooden deck. The shared yard has a lawn, a herb garden for guests, a petting corner, a barbecue stand and a taboon oven. Guests are welcomed with a home-baked carrot cake, and a tour of the family's pepper greenhouses and packing house comes at no extra charge. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00.
