Butchery de Bariloche is named after a small town in northern Patagonia whose economy, its site says, rests on meat, wine, chocolate and ice cream, and it brings all four to HaBarzel Street in Ramat HaHayal. Guests walk past blocks of Argentinian chocolate, choose their cut at the restaurant's own butcher's counter with the butchers' advice, and eat it from a small grill at the table. The meat is mostly from first-calf cows raised in Israel, with imported Argentinian Black Angus, dry-aged on the bone for 28 to 40 days. Wine comes from a barrel in the room, from the Tishbi winery and from Mendoza, and the desserts and ice creams are made in its own patisserie.
