Petelina began in 2009 as a small restaurant in the corner of a shopping centre in Tzahala, in the north of Tel Aviv, and has grown since. Limor and Roi Arditi, who head it, came from years of catering and hosting. Its site says the kitchen draws on traditions and techniques from around the world and rests on fresh vegetables, meat and fish, and that dishes from its first day are still on the menus. It keeps a breakfast menu and a lunch and dinner menu, takes table bookings and sends deliveries. It is open from Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 to 23:00 and on Friday until 15:00, and is closed on Saturday.
