A kosher meat restaurant among the stalls of the HaTikva Market, open since 1952

Shemesh has stood since 1952 among the stalls of the HaTikva Market, and its site says it serves home cooking that is good for the soul. In the market air around it guests eat Mediterranean dishes: the house salads, meat of every kind, among them a kebab the site calls the tastiest in town, special side dishes and a range of stews. It can host events of up to 25 people. It stays open late, until 01:00 from Sunday to Thursday and again on Saturday night.
