A café and bistro of home-style Arab cooking in the historic Saraya House on Jaffa's Clock Square

Café Bistro Rogette opened in 2008 in a historic building beside the Clock Square in Jaffa, with seating corners spread through the open air. Its page says the kitchen is Rogette's own: home dishes that join the traditional Arab cooking passed down in her family with contemporary Western touches. The menu includes a Lebanese breakfast and stuffed vegetables, Arabic coffee scented with cardamom or an Italian blend, and Arab and Western sweets for dessert. The page presents the café as a meeting place of Arabs and Jews and of Tel Aviv and Jaffa, and says it hosts events of up to 120 guests, indoors and under the open sky.
