Nur Pilates is an apparatus Pilates studio at 16 Avodat Israel Street in Jaffa, in a colourful residential area between Ajami and Tzahalon. Its owner and head teacher, Reut Ben Yaakov, trained in the Block method and has taught Pilates since 2008, and she opened the studio in Jaffa in 2013 after running a studio in Modi'in. The studio stands in a private courtyard and has the main Pilates apparatus: a reformer, a Cadillac, a Wunda Chair, a high barrel and a spine corrector. Newcomers start with three introductory lessons, private or semi-private, and classes then run in groups of up to five people, paid for by cards of 10, 20, 40 or 60 lessons. Its site says the studio is easy to reach on foot or by the buses on Yefet Street, and that parking is free in the street or in a nearby free car park.
