The House of Dona Gracia is a hotel in the centre of Tiberias, a walk from the beaches of the Sea of Galilee, designed in the spirit of the 16th century so that guests can sense the life and travels of the Jewish leader Doña Gracia Nasi. It has 66 rooms, most of them looking over Tiberias and the lake; they are large, sleep up to four and come with a TV, a minibar and a coffee corner. Inside is a living museum set like her palace, to the sounds of Renaissance music, with guided or self-guided tours, special exhibits and 16th-century costumes to dress up in, with a photograph to take home. Its halls have hosted press conferences of the city's mayors, lectures and company conferences.
