Eitan Rosenzweig was born in 2002 in Alon Shvut
Rosenzweig was born on March 7, 2002, and grew up in Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion. He was the eldest of five sons of Hagit and Uzi. As a young child on a class trip, he found a stone that turned out to be an Early Bronze Age female figurine, later given to the Israel Antiquities Authority.
He finished high school at the Neve Shmuel Yeshiva in Efrat and studied in the regional art major in Gush Etzion. His final project, the scroll "Kuma, Mei Aftzim and Kankantum", won first place in a national competition and a scholarship for art studies. Alongside school he completed a bachelor's degree in economics at the Open University, and he later studied at the Yeruham hesder yeshiva.
He served in the Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade and finished his compulsory service in September 2023. After the Hamas attack of October 7, he returned to his unit, which was among the first forces to enter Gaza. He was killed in combat in Jabalya on November 22, 2023.
In May 2024 the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem opened an exhibition of his work, "Kuma", funded through crowdfunding. His scroll, 3.6 meters long, shows the journey of the Jewish people through the generations. It appears on the cover of a poetry book by Yonadav Kaplun and in the series "Shababnikim".
