Inbal Rabin-Lieberman was born in 1997 in Nir Am
Inbal Rabin-Lieberman was born in 1997 in Kibbutz Nir Am, where she continued to live. She studied at the Alma pre-military academy for women's leadership.
In the IDF she served as a combat soldier in the Oketz Unit and later as a coordination NCO. In 2020 she received the President's Award of Excellence.
In December 2022 Nir Am appointed her as its security coordinator, a role her uncle Ami Rabin had held before her. Her job was to help protect residents in emergencies until police or army forces arrived. She was the first woman in the kibbutz to hold the post.
On 7 October 2023 she heard unusual noises near the kibbutz, armed the members of the emergency squad and placed them in ambush positions around the fence. She also ordered that the power stay off so the gates could not be opened. Soldiers and Border Police forces fought the militants, and the residents who were in the kibbutz survived.
After the attack she was evacuated with other residents to a hotel in Tel Aviv. On 18 October 2023 she met US President Joe Biden during his visit to Israel. In 2024 she lit a torch at the Independence Day ceremony and received the Rappaport Prize.
