Revital Swid was born in 1967 in Hadera

Swid was born in Hadera in 1967 to Yosef and Bruria Maimon. Her father was a Jewish immigrant from Libya, and her mother came from a Sephardi Jerusalem family that took part in founding Hadera. As a girl she studied at the Kfar Pines ulpana.

She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in law at Bar-Ilan University. She interned in the criminal division of the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office and then worked as a lawyer in Netanya.

In 1994 she founded her own law firm, which she led until she entered the Knesset. Her clients included members of the Abutbul crime family, and she defended Marie-Charlotte Pizem in the Rose Pizem murder case. She held roles in the Israel Bar Association and taught at Sha'arei Mishpat College.

Swid entered the Knesset in 2015 on the Zionist Union list. She sat on the committee for appointing rabbinical judges and initiated laws on social networks and on rights of bereaved families. She returned to the Knesset in September 2019 and lost her seat in 2020.

In 2023 she ran for head of the Israel Bar Association but withdrew. In September 2024 she was named chair of the Israel Natural Gas Association. She is an observant Jew and a mother of four living in Ra'anana.
