Rona-Lee Shimon

Rona-Lee Shimon was born in 1983 in Ramat Gan

Shimon was born in Ramat Gan and grew up there as the eldest of four children. Her sister is the actress Sivan Noam Shimon. She started dancing at age 3 and joined the Bat-Dor dance company at 12.

She studied dance at Blich High School. She later studied acting, including at the Yoram Loewenstein acting studio.

In 2005 she competed on the reality show Born to Dance and finished sixth. In 2006 she joined the series Our Song as Shiri Gold. She went on to appear in plays at the Cameri Theatre, including West Side Story as Anita.

Since 2015 she has played Nurit in Fauda, a role that earned her an Israeli Television Academy nomination. She was nominated again for the series Alumim. She also appeared in Messiah and in American films, and was a judge on Dancing with the Stars in 2022 and 2023.

In July 2025 she gave birth to a son.
