Sarah Levy

Sarah Levy was born in 1995 in Cape Town

Sarah Levy was born on December 27, 1995, in Cape Town, South Africa. Her father, Denis, is from South Africa and her mother, Susan, is from the United States, and she is Jewish. Her great-grandfather Louis Babrow played for the Springboks in the 1930s and opposed apartheid.

When she was two, her family moved to Israel, and a few years later to San Diego, California. She went to University City High School, then earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science at Northeastern University in 2018. She later began a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Saint Augustine.

Levy began playing rugby at 18 at Northeastern University. She played for the San Diego Surfers, the New York Rugby Club and the Barbarian F.C. In 2018 she joined the USA Women's Eagles and earned her first cap against England.

She later moved to rugby sevens. In 2022 she joined the USA Sevens Residency and debuted in the World Rugby Sevens Series in Málaga, Spain. In July 2024 she played at the Paris Olympics, scoring in her first match, and the team won the bronze medal.
