Uzi Moscovitch was born in 1964 in Israel
Uzi Moscovitch, full name Azriel Moscovitch, was born in 1964. He grew up in Ramat Gan.
He holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering from the Technion. He also earned an MBA from the Israeli branch of New York University and a master's degree in strategic studies from the US Army War College.
He joined the Armored Corps in 1982 and fought in the First Lebanon War. He later commanded the 500th Brigade in Operation Defensive Shield and led several divisions. In 2011 he became a major general and head of the Teleprocessing Directorate, and he left the army in 2016.
In 2017 he became CEO of the missile division of Israel Aerospace Industries. He later served as CEO of Waveguard and sat on the boards of Migdal companies. In 2022 he became board chairman of Hub Security.
He is married with 6 children and lives in Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut.
