נשיא המדינה לא יובא לדין פלילי; התקופה שבה נמנעת, מכוח סעיף זה, הבאתו של נשיא המדינה לדין בשל עבירה, לא תבוא במנין תקופת ההתיישנות של אותה עבירה.
