8. הגנה מפני מפגעים
(א)המתקין כבל במקום שבו הוא עלול להיפגע מאיכול, רטיבות, קרינה, חום או פגיעות מכניות, יוודא שהכבל עמיד לסכנות אלה ומוגן מפניהן.
(ב)כבל העובר דרך קירות, תקרות, מחיצות וחלקי מבנה אחרים, יוגן, במקום המעבר, בפני שחיקה ונזקים מכניים.
