הארקה במיתקן החשמל של דוד שמש תותקן על ידי מוליך הארקה אשר יובא במעגל הדוד מהלוח המזין אותו; נעשית זינת הדוד על ידי כבל, יהיה מוליך ההארקה כלול בכבל.
