20. פרשת ההגנה
לא זוכה הנאשם לפי תקנה 19 רשאי הוא –
(1)להביא את ראיות ההגנה ולהקדים להן דברי פתיחה;
(2)להעיד כעד הגנה, ואז הוא עשוי להיחקר;
(3)למסור הודעה, ואז לא ייחקר;
(4)להימנע הן מעדות והן ממסירת הודעה.
