9. שטח מעבר ולחץ פתיחה
שטח המעבר הכולל ולחץ הפתיחה של שסתום הבטיחות יהיו כאלה, שהקיטור או האויר ישוחררו ממיתקן לחץ בהפעלה מלאה, בכמות מספקת למניעת עליית הלחץ במיתקן ביתר מ־10% מעל המותר או פחות מזה בהתאם להוראות יצרן המיתקן.
