Section 8 of תקנות הבטיחות בעבודה (בטיחות וגיהות תעסוקתית בעבודה עם גורמים מסוכנים במעבדות רפואיות, כימיות וביולוגיות), התשס״א–2001, חובות עובד מעבדה.
8. חובות עובד מעבדה
(א)לא יאכל עובד, לא ישתה ולא יעשן במעבדה אלא בחדרים מיוחדים שהתקין לענין זה המעביד, ולאחר שהסיר את בגדי העבודה ורחץ ידיו במים ובסבון.
(ב)עובד מעבדה יסיר בתום יום העבודה את בגדי העבודה וישאירם במלתחות המיועדות להם במפעל.
(ג)עובד ישתמש בציוד מגן אישי שסיפק לו מחזיק מעבדה וישמור עליו נקי ובמצב תקין.
