8. עצמאות המרכז
(א)המרכז יהיה עצמאי בהפעלת סמכויותיו לשם מילוי תפקידיו, בהתאם להוראות חוק זה.
(ב)תקציב המרכז ייקבע בתוכנית נפרדת בתחום הפעולה של רשות המיסים בתקציב המדינה; בסעיף זה, ”תוכנית“ ו”תחום פעולה“ – כהגדרתם בחוק תקציב שנתי כמשמעותו בחוק יסודות התקציב, התשמ״ה–1985.
