Section 14 of תקנות הפיקוח על מעונות (החזקת חוסים במעונות ללוקים בשכלם), תשכ״ז–1967, חדרי שירותים ונקיון.
14. חדרי שירותים ונקיון
(א)מספר כלי התברואה במבני המגורים שבמעון יהיה לפי מספר החוסים השוכנים בו כמפורט בתוספת.
(ב)חדרי הנוחיות יימצאו בתוך המבנה במרחק סביר מחדרי המגורים.
(ג)במעון שבו שוכנים חוסים משני המינים יהיו כלי התברואה נפרדים ככל האפשר לפי היחס המספרי בין שני המינים.
(ד)במעון יוצבו פחי אשפה המספיקים להבטחת הנקיון של המעון.
(ה)בכל מעון יימצא מיתקן מרכזי סגור לשמירתה התקינה של האשפה והרקתה.
(ו)במעון ידאגו לסילוק האשפה.
