The source says: לפי סעיף 195 לחוק הפטנטים, תשכ״ז–1967, פקודת הפטנטים וסימני האמצאה אינה חלה עוד על מתן פטנטים, על אמצאות ועל תקפם, ולכן אין עוד תוקף לתקנות הפטנטים (אמנה בין לאומית), 1935.

המבקש חייב לפי דרישת הרשם, להראות את המקום בפירוט הנכרי אשר בו תוארה לראשונה אמצאתו כפי שהיא נתבעת באחת מתביעות הפירוט המצורף לבקשתו.
