17. העדר מישיבות המועצה
חבר המועצה שנעדר מישיבות המועצה שלושה חדשים רצופים, או משלוש ישיבות רצופות, אם היו בשלושה חדשים פחות משלוש ישיבות, יחדל להיות חבר המועצה, מלבד אם נעדר מסיבת מחלה או שירות בצבא־הגנה לישראל או ברשות המועצה. על חדילה כאמור יודיע יושב ראש המועצה בכתב לרשות המקומית, שמטעמה כיהן לפני החדילה.
