6. סמכויות האיגוד
לשם ביצוע תפקידיו יהיו לאיגוד, בכפוף לסעיף 9 בחוק, כל הסמכויות הנתונות לרשות מקומית לפי כל דין, ולעניין זה בכל מקום בחיקוק שמדובר בו ב”עיריה“, ”מועצה מקומית“ או ”רשות מקומית“, יראו כאילו מדובר ב”איגוד“, ובכל מקום בחיקוק שמדובר בו ב”ראש עיריה“ ”ראש מועצה מקומית“ או ”ראש רשות מקומית“, יראו כאילו מדובר ביושב ראש המועצה, והוא כשאין הוראה אחרת בצו זה.
