Section 2 of תקנות שירות הקבע בצבא הגנה לישראל (גמלאות) (סוג שירות ”חייל לוחם“), התשע״ו–2016, חייל לוחם.
2. חייל לוחם
חייל בשירות קבע ישויך לסוג שירות ”חייל לוחם“, אם מצא הגורם המוסמך שהתקיימו בו שני התנאים האלה:
(1)שולמה בשכרו במשך 10 שנים לפחות בקבע תוספת רמת פעילות א׳ או רמת פעילות גבוהה ממנה;
(2)הוא שירת 10 שנים לפחות בקבע בעיסוק לחימה.
