8. פרסום בדבר שטח נגוע
רופא וטרינרי ממשלתי רשאי לפרסם, בדרך הנראית לו, הודעה המכריזה כי תחום רשות מקומית או מקום אחר הוא שטח נגוע לענין סעיף 17(3) לפקודה מחמת שיש בהם או היה בהם תוך שלושים יום שקדמו לתאריך ההודעה, בקר נגוע, לדעת הרופא.
