מי שפרש מן השירות לפני יום ה׳ בטבת התשס״ט (1 בינואר 2009) וערב פרישתו דורג בדירוג אחר, יראו כאילו הוא נמנה ברשימת הדירוגים הבסיסית לעניין תוספת בשל המדד לשנת 2008 לפי סעיף 9א(ג) לחוק.
