הוראות חוק זה החלות על עובד ומעסיקו יחולו על חייל המשרת בצבא הגנה לישראל על פי התחייבות לשירות קבע ועל צבא הגנה לישראל, אף שלא מתקיימים ביניהם יחסי עבודה, בשינויים המחויבים.
