בתקנות אלה –
”הממונה“ – הממונה על הגנת הצרכן שמונה לפי סעיף 19 לחוק;
”מבקר–חוקר“ – אדם שהממונה הסמיכו לענין סעיף 21 לחוק [צ״ל: לענין סעיפים 21 ו־22 לחוק].
