תיקון: תשפ״ה
מטרתו של חוק זה היא להסדיר את זכותו של כל אדם לניוד המידע הרפואי על אודותיו לשם שיפור הטיפול הרפואי בו ומצבו הבריאותי, בין השאר באמצעות טיפולים רפואיים חדשניים ורפואה מונעת, מותאמת אישית ויזומה, וכן לשם סיוע במימוש זכויותיו ושיפור השירות שהוא מקבל מגוף ציבורי הכרוכים במידע רפואי, והכול תוך שמירה על פרטיותו ובהסכמתו.
