1. הגדרות
בחוק זה –
”דגימת DNA“ – דגימה ביולוגית הניטלת מכלב, באופן לא פולשני או חודרני, במטרה להפיק ממנה את המידע הגנטי של הכלב במסגרת בדיקה גנטית;
”בדיקה גנטית“ – בדיקת דגימת DNA לשם אפיון והשוואה של רצפים של DNA;
”מאגר DNA מקומי לכלבים“ – מאגר מידע מקומי שהוקם לפי הוראות סעיף 2;
”מידע גנטי“ – מידע שמופק מבדיקה גנטית;
”השר“ – חבר הממשלה, שהממשלה הסמיכה אותו לבצע חוק זה.
