8. אי־מתן שטר התחייבות גורר עמו מאסר
נצטוה אחד מבני כל משפחה או פלגה ליתן שטר התחייבות עפ״י סעיף 5 של פקודה זו ולא נתן אותו בתאריך ראשית התקופה שבעדה צריך שטר ההתחייבות להנתן או לפני אותו תאריך, ימסר אותו אדם למאסר, ואם הוא כבר אסור יעצרוהו במאסר עד כלות אותה התקופה או עד שיתן, במשך אותה תקופה, את שטר ההתחייבות הדרוש.
