3. תוקף ההכרזה
תוקפה של הכרזה לפי סעיף 2 לא יעלה על שש שנים, אולם השר רשאי, לפי המלצת הצוות המייעץ, להאריך את תוקף ההכרזה מזמן לזמן לתקופות נוספות שלא יעלו על שש שנים כל אחת, אם מצא שמתקיימים התנאים שבסעיף 2, גם אם שטח המרעה קטן בשיעור שאינו עולה על 20% מהשטח כאמור בסעיף 2(א)(1).
