22. מרכז לאומי למידע ולמחקר
(א)הרשות תקים ותנהל מרכז לאומי למידע ולמחקר שתפקידו לאסוף מידע, לעבד נתונים, לערוך השוואות בין־לאומיות, לנתח מגמות ולגבש המלצות בתחומי פעולתה של הרשות.
(ב)המרכז הלאומי למידע ולמחקר יבצע מחקרים בעניין מגמות בתחום העוני ובעניין הערכה של תוכניות למניעת עוני ולצמצומו; המחקרים יבוצעו בתיאום עם המוסד לביטוח לאומי, במידת הצורך.
