בתקנות אלה תהא לכל מונח המשמעות שיש לו בתקנות סדר הדין האזרחי, תשכ״ג–1963 (להלן – התקנות הכלליות), והוראות התקנות הכלליות יחולו, בשינויים המחוייבים לפי הענין, על סדרי הדין בבית הדין לשכירות, והוא כשאין כוונה אחרת משתמעת מתקנות אלה.
