Section 5 of כללי לשכת עורכי הדין (בחירת חברי בית הדין המשמעתי הארצי), התשנ״ו–1996, הגשת שמות מועמדים.
5. הגשת שמות מועמדים
(א)כל שני חברים במועצה ארצית רשאים להגיש לוועדת הבחירות, בכתב, שמות של מועמדים לבחירה לחברי בית הדין הארצי, במספר שלא יעלה על מספר חברי בית הדין הארצי העומדים לבחירה.
(ב)לשמות המועמדים שיוגשו לועדת הבחירות יצורף כתב הסכמה של כל מועמד, בחתימתו, הכולל הודעה כי הוא כשיר לפי סעיף 16 לחוק.
(ג)ניתן להגיש שמות מועמדים לא יאוחר מ־35 ימים לפני מועד הבחירות.
