1. הגדרות
בחוק זה –
”יישוב עירוני מעורב“ – עירייה או מועצה מקומית, למעט מועצה אזורית, ששיעור תושביה שאינם יהודים הוא בין 35% ל־55% מכלל תושביה או ששיעור תושביה היהודים הוא בין 35% ל־55% מכלל תושביה, לפי פרסומי הלשכה המרכזית לסטטיסטיקה;
”יישוב עירוני מעורב מוטב“ – יישוב עירוני מעורב המשויך לאשכול 5 או לאשכול נמוך יותר במדד הפריפריאליות;
”מדד הפריפריאליות“ ו”פרסומי הלשכה המרכזית לסטטיסטיקה“ – כהגדרתם בסעיף 11(א) לפקודת מס הכנסה.
