34. ענין מתן פיצויים לספריות ידועות יוצא מכלל חוק זה
יש להוסיף ולזקוף על קופת ההכנסות של הממלכה המאוחדת ולשלם מתוך אותה קופה את הפיצויים השנתיים שסמוך לתחילת תקפו של חוק זה נהגו לשלמם לספריה, בהתאם לכל חוק, מחמת איבוד זכותה לקבל העתקות חנם של ספרים:
בתנאי ששום פיצוי לא ישולם לספריה בשום שנה אלא אם כן הניחו את דעת בית האוצר שהפיצוי שניתן בשנה הקודמת שמש לקנית ספרים לצורך הספריה ולשמירתם בה.
