אמצעי המשמעת שבית הדין מוסמך להטיל הם:
(1)הערה;
(2)התראה;
(3)נזיפה;
(4)העברה למקום כהונה אחר;
(5)העברה מן הכהונה, בין בתשלום קיצבה ובין בשלילתה, כולה או מקצתה.
