2א. תנאים למינוי שופט בית המשפט העליון
תיקון: תשס״ד־6, תשפ״ה
(החל מיום תחילת כהונתה של הכנסת העשרים ושש):
(א)לא יתמנה לשופט בית המשפט העליון מי שכיהן בתפקיד היועץ המשפטי לממשלה או פרקליט המדינה, אלא אם כן עברה תקופה של שמונה עשר חודשים מיום סיום כהונתו.
(ב)בחירה של הוועדה לבחירת שופטים בשופט לבית המשפט העליון שטרם מלאו לו 55 שנים תהיה בהחלטה שהתקבלה על דעת כל החברים המכהנים בוועדה.
