5. אזרחות
[ש/4א]
(א)לא יתמנה לשופט מי שאינו אזרח ישראלי.
(ב)היה המועמד למינוי גם בעל אזרחות שאינה ישראלית ודיני המדינה שהוא אזרח בה מאפשרים את שחרורו מאזרחות זו, לא יתמנה אלא לאחר שעשה את כל הדרוש מצדו לשם שחרורו ממנה.
