20. שחרור עצור לפי צו מעצר על ידי קצין משטרה
מי שנעצר לפי צו של שופט, ולא קבע השופט שהעצור יובא לפניו לשם שחרורו, או את תנאי הערובה לשחרורו, או את שחרורו ללא ערובה, רשאי קצין משטרה להורות על שחרורו, לפני תום תקופת המעצר שנקבעה בצו, ללא ערובה, או לקבוע ערובה, ובלבד שהעצור או סניגורו הסכים לערובה שקבע.
