8א. הרחבת תחום השיפוט במקרים מסויימים
תיקון: תשכ״ז־3
(א)רשאי השר, לפי שיקול דעתו וללא עריכת חקירה לפי סעיף 8, להרחיב באכרזה את תחומה של עיריה פלונית על ידי הכללת שטח שנקבע בצו לפי סעיף 11ב לפקודת סדרי השלטון והמשפט, תש״ח–1948.
(ב)הרחיב השר תחום עיריה כאמור, רשאי הוא, בצו, למנות מבין יושבי השטח חברים נוספים למועצה; חבר המועצה שנתמנה כאמור יכהן כל עוד מכהנת המועצה, אולם רשאי השר, בצו, למנות אחר במקומו.
