47. תחילה ותחולה
(א)הוראות חוק־יסוד זה יחולו על הבחירות ועל כינון הממשלה, החל בבחירות לכנסת השש עשרה.
(ב)בכפוף להוראות סעיף קטן (א), תהא תחילתו של חוק־יסוד זה ביום שתיכון הממשלה כאמור בסעיף קטן (א).
(ג)על אף הוראת סעיף קטן (ב), תחילתו של סעיף 44 ביום פרסומו של חוק־יסוד זה.
