42ב. השעיה
תיקון: תשמ״א, תש״ס, תשס״ז
(א)חבר הכנסת שהורשע בעבירה פלילית וקבע בית המשפט, ביזמתו או לבקשת היועץ המשפטי לממשלה, שיש עם העבירה קלון, יושעה מכהונתו בכנסת מיום קביעת בית המשפט ועד למועד שבו פסק הדין נעשה סופי.
(ב)חבר הכנסת שהורשע בעבירה פלילית ונידון למאסר, יושעה מכהונתו בכנסת למשך הזמן שהוא נושא את עונש המאסר.
(ב1)הוראות סעיף זה יחולו גם על חבר הכנסת שהורשע בעבירה כאמור בסעיפים קטנים (א) או (ב) לפני היותו חבר הכנסת.
(ג)(בוטל).
